Rebranding BN Care Group: A Fresh, Premium Identity Across Seven Care Homes

At Whittingham Marketing, we thrive on transformative projects that elevate brands and help them tell a unified story. One such project was the rebranding of the BN Care Group, a group of care homes renowned for offering high-quality, compassionate care.


Over the course of three months, our team embarked on a journey to reshape their visual identity, messaging, and online presence.


The Need for Change


BN Care Group’s previous branding felt outdated. Their bold yellow and green colour scheme no longer reflected the premium, expert care they provided. With seven care homes under their management, each operating semi-independently, it was clear they needed a unified brand that would communicate their status as a top-tier care provider.

This is where we came in.


Aligning Seven Care Homes Under One Brand


One of the biggest challenges we faced was the sheer scale of the project. BN Care Group operated seven care homes (at the time of taking the project on), each with its own management team and unique identity. Ensuring consistency in messaging, design, and the overall branding approach across all of these locations was crucial to the rebrand’s success.


To address this, we coordinated closely with the managers of each care home. Multiple calls were held to ensure that everyone was aligned on the goals and timeline. By working as a team, we were able to craft a cohesive launch strategy that showcased the new brand while also reflecting the unique personality of each care home.


A new modern fresh approach to BN Care

A New Visual Identity


A key element of the rebrand was the creation of a modern and timeless colour scheme, which moved away from the old bright yellow and green. We opted for a sophisticated palette of sage green, cream, and black. This new look feels both elegant and professional—qualities that resonate with BN Care’s reputation for providing expert care.


One of the standout elements of the rebrand is the redesigned logo. BN Care’s iconic dove silhouette was retained, but it was given a subtle update to ensure it fit within the fresh, contemporary visual identity. This dove represents the group’s values of peace, compassion, and care, and ties together each of the seven care homes under one banner.


Websites That Reflect Premium Care


In addition to the logo and colour scheme, we also overhauled BN Care’s digital presence. Each of the seven care homes now has its own dedicated website, designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind. These websites are sleek, modern, and easy to navigate, offering prospective residents and their families a seamless experience. Clear messaging across all sites reinforces BN Care Group as a premium provider, with consistent branding that leaves a lasting impression.



The Response So Far


We’re proud to say that the rebrand has been incredibly well received by the team at BN Care. Amy Boyes, general manager of BN Care, described the new branding as “a breath of fresh air, worlds away from the designs of old and a timeless style the company can move forward with.” This was high praise, and it perfectly captures the essence of what we aimed to achieve.


The chairman, Wade Newmark, was equally impressed. He loved the new colour scheme and the overall quality feel of the branding, which is a key aspect of ensuring that BN Care Group stands out in a competitive industry.


A Lasting Impact


The new branding has achieved exactly what BN Care Group needed—it’s unified the seven care homes under a single, cohesive identity while maintaining the individuality of each home. Most importantly, the rebrand positions BN Care Group as a premium provider of care, with a visual identity that matches their reputation for excellence.
